When Diane MacDonald invited me to attend a guided meditation that she was giving I was happy to accept even though I didn’t know quite what to expect. Diane is a person I trust, someone I know to be kind, loving and compassionate and so I was happy to give her mediation session a try. I’d heard so much about the health benefits of meditation and how it can help with stress, anxiety and many other issues so I was looking forward to the experience.

The session took place at White Lotus Divine Healing in Port Moody. After explaining a little bit about guided meditation Diane invited us to make ourselves comfortable either sitting or lying on yoga mats, the lights were lowered and the session began.

Diane took us on a journey through the realms of our imagination and I went to some very beautiful places in my mind. I was lulled by her calm, soothing voice and the beautiful music and sounds. I felt completely safe. Diane has a gift for writing and I would love for you to experience her words first-hand one day. Near the end of the hour long meditation Diane brought us gently back to Earth. I felt cleansed and relaxed and my mind was completely clear.

Diane invited us to share our thoughts at the end of the session. One of the participants who had previously practiced as a hypnotherapist said she had attended and experienced hundreds of guided mediations. She said that this one was one of the most profound. She complimented Diane on her beautifully crafted meditation script and the way in which it was delivered.

Now that I have experienced the peace and relaxation that meditation can bring I look forward to incorporating this practice into my life. I know that it will help to keep me grounded during times of stress and will bring healing and relaxation when needed.
