Tarot Cards – Major Arcana

The cards of the Major Arcana represent major lessons in your spiritual development.  They are significant and highlight the both the direction and importance of the reading.

A good reader knows the symbolic meaning of each of the cards.  But, a great reader intuitively knows what the cards represent in the current reading.

Readers are as unique as snowflakes, each with a different ability.

Tarot reading, old school, is about spiritual growth – not fortune telling.

This first blog on the subject of the individual cards will introduce you to the Fool, aka card 0.

THE FOOL – Card 0

The Fool is the first card of the Major Arcana; however, her number is 0. S/he is said to be representative of the root chakra.  Your ability to trust in yourself and the word around you.

The Fool invites you to throw caution to the wind and to take a leap of faith, if you dare.

You may be at a crossroads.  Facing the same old dilemma but, this time you are looking for a different result.

It is important for you to acknowledge and understand that your roots, genealogy, and past life experiences have brought you to this point.

If your intention is to get a different outcome this time, then you must change your usual response.  It must be different.  To create a new future, a new result, you must be willing to change.

To some the fool, this card 0, may appear as an antihero.  Perhaps a bit too carefree.  But, s/he provides hope, at last,  for a new beginning.

The fool supports your ability to reach a different outcome with grace and courage.  The fool, represented as card 0 of the deck, is unrestrained.  S/he can look at the world through the eyes of a child without judgment or fear which can free you from your typical conditioned response(s).
